For the past few days I've been trying to think of a good way to describe Lollipop Chainsaw. The best analogy I can come up with is that it's a game that is a cross between Bring It On and The Walking Dead. So imagine Kirsten Dunst as that typical Californian cheerleader mauling zombies with a chainsaw. (Now there's a movie everyone wants to see) As strange as that combination sounds, I think it really works. I've read reviews that say this game is too crude, but I like the way it combines the sex appeal and violence. The gameplay isn't very deep, but everything just ties together so well. This is definitely not a game that will blew me away, but somehow I was still hooked on it. There's plenty of replay value with all of the collectibles you can find and attack combinations you can unlock. Any game that has cheerleaders and zombies is a win-win in my book.
The biggest problem with this game is the problems with the camera angles in some places. The camera doesn't always stay in the optimal location, but usually you can just manually readjust it. I could probably do without the Nick mini games as they just aren't very fun and don't add any value to the game.
I give the Lollipop Chainsaw's combination of glitter, lollipops, rainbows, and zombie massacres an Ok. Cool. and Wait. Definitely something you should pick up when you find the right deal.
