E.V.O. The Search For Eden

I started collecting games about a year ago and in the past year not only have I spent way too much money, I have greatly expanded my knowledge collectable games. Now being a SNES game, I shall focus on other collectable SNES games. After your obvious choices for collecting (Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Link to the Past, etc) E.V.O should definitely be on your list to get.
I have to admit the main reason I bought this game was to just have it. It seemed like it was on everyone's list to buy and a few's favorite SNES games lists. So call me crazy (you're crazy), but I went against better judgement and dropped about $65 for a copy (don't remember the exact amount).

E.V.O. gave me a unique experience, something I haven't gotten in a long time. People who cannot stand farming experience will most likely hate this game, but if you can look past that, it really is a very cool game. E.V.O. is a game of evolution where you start as a fish and eventually evolve into a human. (FYI, I don't believe we evolved from fish. This game made a strong case for it, but I just don't buy it :) ). The game has a number of different environments and enemies to eat which keeps it entertaining at least for a little while. There's something satisfying when you finally get to evolve into a mammal or dinosaur. The game isn't overly hard once you figure out the patterns to use when fighting the bosses.

I give this game an Ok. Cool. and say buy it when you see a good deal on it. One of those games that gives you a new experience and is just different from your average game.
